A Bit About Me. (Revamped)

It's been a long while since Olive and I started this blog (as I'm writing this, my brother and his friend are calling me a hipster -_-). I've changed a lot since that one day I met a girl on a writing site and found out that we both liked to write and take pictures, so we decided to add one more flimsy little page to the huge book that is the Internet.
I've started and ended many hobbies since, and interests have come and gone. Like photography. I haven't been taking many pictures lately. I haven't been writing lately, either.

Okay, that's a lie. I did June NaNoWriMo. Halfway. Sort of. I got almost ten thousand words into a brand spanking new, fresh, different-than-my-norm idea, and I faltered. Haven't written since. Well, blog posts. But not actual writing. I haven't been doing much of anything, lately. Updating my other blog, and my tumblr. It's summer vacation for me, so I'm doing what students on vacation do best: absolutely nothing. Been watching the Olympics with my brother. Pretty rad opening ceremony, eh?

I also learned how to crochet, and now I have about six scarves to make. Yay. Now I'll do a bit more about myself.

Favorite Movies: The Avengers, Thor, Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Captain America, The Spiderman Trilogy, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, All of the Pirates of the Carribean, the Batman Trilogy (saw the new one on Sunday - it rocked), um... Alice in Wonderland, both new and cartoon. Can't think of any more. Oh well!

Favorite Author(s): Man. I am just FULL of stupid questions today.
Random facts about myself:

• I start school again soon, so I might be blogging less.
• I'm also doing August Camp NaNoWriMo.
• Camp will be hard, with school and all of my crocheting.
• I have a dog, two cats, and three goldfish.
• I'm a Hufflepuff, according to Pottermore.
• I agree with Pottermore.
• I have a Pottermore.

...And that's about it! Hopefully this will tide you guys over until Olive and I figure out what we're going to do about this ramshackle of a blog. (No offence, Olive.)

Thought I'd share....

....My desk and what not!

I showed Cossy this a while back, and decided to share my shelf. And desk. and yeah! Enjoy folks!

On the chair is my writing binder, the binder on the desk is now the binder that has all my ideas in it, my laptop is reflecting a lamp, the horse thing in the back i got for my b-day last year. I have a box full of pens, 2 library books that i returned that day, headphones, phone, highlighter, pens everywhere, paper everywhere, and  my calendar. (Today it has nothing on it, but a stack of books in the corner by my keepsake box(horses), a notebook that I hold words I don't/do know in, a book called A Guide to Writing your Novel, and a thing of green papers! Yay!)

Look a thesaurus! Okay starting from the left....My writing binder, which holds ideas, randomness, completed work, some not. Next just has random stuff in it for now. The one with 'paint' on it is holding all the ideas I want to work on later next year. The one with the yellow on it is my Anaklusmos binder aka my novel. Then I have like 3 half-empty notebooks, 2 full notebooks (ideas, & poems) and a thesaurus. One top of all this, is my new idea notebook, as my old one is now pretty much full!

Random bit of something.

My legs feel like lead and I fall to my knees.
I grab Adaline's lighter and I hold it up.
I close my hand around it to keep the air from blowing it out.
I watch it flicker in the dark.
Watch it fade as I close my fingers over it.
Feel the heat hit my skin.
Feel the pain of yestarday fall away.
I switch spots more than once.
On both hands.
I close the lighter and look down at my palms.
They are mirroring the image of my heart.

Okay! Saturday post!

Well I hope you all like the template! We should have it done even better in a few days! I dont have much to share with you today.

I let my characters roam free today(I write you know) and well....I scared myself because of it.

Ollie gets a new sister...kind of.

Well I am very sorry this is so late, I got home around 5ish, and then went with my mom to her friends house and we were gone longer than 15 min. so, I'm kind of tired, but here is the post like promised!

I got up around 5, and after being awake for less than 15 mins, I was shipped out the door. I then sat for 4 hours(with breaks in between) stuck between my dog, and little sister. Now the dog we have is a black lab, so she is pretty good sized, a large dog. She seemed to always be moving. She would wait to lie down in till we were about 10 minutes into the ride(from a break). I'd share a photo of her, but I already have a bunch I am going to share so...Tuesday you shall get one. Remind me!

So after almost getting lost we finally get there. We went 4 hours(we got there about 11:15ish) in the car, 8 of us and a dog, to get another dog! This little pup, is a purebreed Great Dane.

Her full name is Lillian Epic. We had to keep the Epic part, because thats what's on her papers. But we are calling her Lily. :) Lillian just sounded better.

This is her daddy. He was like a giant bear!

This is Lily's mama, she went up to us, and then walked away. This is the only good photo I got of her.

I couldn't find one of Lily's sister, Emily, but here is Macey, who is 3 weeks older than Lily and her sister. (They are 6 weeks, we found out on the way home) Macey didn't really want anything to do with us, but she was soo sweet and nice! Her paws, were HUGE!

Lillian is big for a 6 week older, but you can tell she is only 6 weeks old. She was sitting with my little brother, and decided it was time to eat and started sucking on his ear! Let's just say, he was NOT happy! Lily is very sweet though, and it will be so fun to watch how she grows! I mean she is a Great Dane! She is supposed to be a tiny bit taller than our dinning room table!! Insane! But get this! You guys get to watch as well! (Through photos of course)

 To make this post come even later, Lily decided she needed to cuddle and is now on my lap, and needed water and out before I was even half-way through this post. But it's here. So enjoy!

Weekends. Don't you love them?

  Hey, Costello here with your weekly Sunday random post. I'm super excited to be here, sharing my thoughts with the world. All thanks need to go to Olive because she set all of this up and make our blog look spectacular! Don't you think?
  Okay, so...random stuff. School starts for me in 24 days. I'm going to a new school, but everything's going to be okay. My brother used to go there and the teachers and other people know me. On the first day of school, I'm bringing my camera (of course). I am already on the yearbook committee, and I want to get some first day shots. I'll just be the kid who stands around alone while everyone else is going around, hugging their friends who they haven't seen all summer and saying, "OMG *insert name* I haven't seen you in forever! I missed you soooo much!" And they're jumping around, squealing and hugging, and I'll be there to capture it all. I'm hoping to make the yearbook look good because the yearbook from my school sucked. The cool part was that I took most of the pictures.
  And I have a dentist appointment tomorrow, so my post might be slightly delayed.
  Oh! I know what to talk about! NaNo! As you can see, on the right hand side of the screen, in the list of sites that both Olive and I like, there is YWP and Camp NaNoWriMo. I am doing Camp NaNo, but not the official version. I was doing so well at first, I had hit 6,000 words, the farthest I've ever gotten, (I know, I suck) and then... I stopped. I'm not sure if it's writer's block or what, but I've just stopped writing and I haven't in a few days. I also would be doing Camp n August, but I can't because school starts for me.
  Now sadly, I must go. Play Mario, wash a car, eat, other stuff. Hope you all liked my post! Post comments, rate, and follow!
